Scam Calls Reported In Mansfield, Targeting Doctor Offices

RICHLAND CO., OH - The Richland County Sherriff's Office is alerting the public following scam phone calls being reported in the area. 

"We are having a person impersonate an officer calling doctors-offices and stating we need to talk to them in reference to a legal manner stating their name is deputy Mark Davis.", stated Chief Deputy, Major Joe Masi of the Richland County Sheriff's Office. 

According to Masi, they are talking about posting bond for a warrant issued on them.
